 February is Puppy Love month. MiniPup, the software running in the EC mini-boxes, is built from Puppy Linux and many other free/ open-source software. EC-tech therefore joins Puppy Linux enthusiasts in this month's celebration. Among the expected events in February 2007 are: - Launching of EC-tech exhibit and training center at APEC ActetSME, S&T Park, University of the Philippines Los Banos (UPLB), Philippines. - Presentation of EC-tech as a solution in open and distance learning during the Second ODL Conference, Traders Hotel, Manila, February 23-24, 2007. - First EC-tech city tour at Dumaguete City during the NEGROS ISLAND ORGANIC FARMERS’ FESTIVAL on February 8-10, 2007. Thanks to NISARD Foundation for the warm welcome! Husband and wife Eduardo and Lilia Mondarte helped me start talking to the early exhibitors, and Director Mary Anne de la Raya of PAGBAG-O, Inc. will help exhibit the mini-PC starting tomorrow, February 8, 2007.  Exotic green mango is February's fruit. Many mango fruits that flowered in the rainy season are now mature but still green. Cut one into strips and dip in shrimp paste laced with tomatoes (and even chili!). Mmm, happy faces will suddenly turn sour! |
