The cooperation between Pagbag-O and EC-tech started in the Negros Island Organic Farming Festival held February 8-10, 2007 at Dumaguete City.
EC-tech founder Dr. Raffy chanced upon Pagbag-O's exhibit in the Capitol Grounds of Dumaguete City and explained to the group the EC-tech idea. Immediately, Executive Director Mary Anne G. dela Raya saw the relevance of EC-tech to Pagbag-O's programs and invited Dr. Raffy to exhibit EC-tech in the Pagbag-O booth. The group (with Director Mary Anne holding a mini-PC*) posed on February 8 in the exhibit grounds:

Between the symposium activities, Raffy tutored Pagbag-O personnel in the use of EC-tech software, and a full install in Pagbag-O's laptop is already working after an afternoon of tutorial on February 9. By February 10, Director Mary Anne decided to get Raffy's help in getting a website. Without delay, Raffy started the process of preparing a website and by February 14, 2007, Pagbag-O is already online - click here to visit the new website. (The process should have been shorter if not for the two weekend non-working days.)
Pagbag-O's staff Miguel Cabilao spent about 4 hours with Raffy learning the tricks of EC-tech, and is now ready to manage the laptop (where EC-tech software is installed) as well as the Pagbag-O website.

Miguel Cabilao, the computing enthusiast of Pagbag-O, holds the mini-PC* and poses with the group on February 9, 2007 in the Dumaguete Capitol Grounds.
