Teacher Laury loves students as she also loves studying and drawing. While studying for PhD at the University of the Philippines Los Banos, she was attracted by the idea of using minimalistic approach to elearning with Eminima.
Using document modules for values education that she has drafted earlier, she started publishing to the Web at annex.ph-islands.net, using DOC modules converted to PDF, and adding quizzes for every module.
Her students accessed the lessons even though the school had only one PC at the time - they formed groups and rented PC time in Internet cafes. It was fun! They were able to expand the short time allotted to the values education class, and had a taste of the Web working for their own learning.
